• We are not recommended for accessing the "Tally Data" folder over network.!!
  • For example Tally Data is store on other Windows, Linux or Tiiguin System and Tiguin Desktops are Accessing Tally Data from network
  • Please visit the following Video it will help you more:-

  • For example your 20 users want to use 5 GB Tally data and your network is 1 GBPS.
  • So 1024 MBPS / 8 = 128 MBPS and 128 MBPS / 20 Users =  6.4 MBPS.
  • It means your each user will access your 5GB Data on 6.4 MBPS spedd from network.
  • So your Data corruption chances is very high.
  • If you use Tiguin as Application Server and Install Tally and store Tally then connect your clients (Tiguin Desktop, Windows, Linux or any Thin Client which have RDP Client) machines to Tiguin Application Server from RDP Client.
  • Then it will use only 150 KBPS network speed per client  and also your Tally data will not travel in network because RDP travels only key stokes and mouse movement on the network.
  • Also when you access Tally data from network in Windows and linux machine simultaneously on that time Data corruption chances are very high because Windows and Linux security system is different.
  • So if you want to use Multi User Tally then please install Tally on Tiguin Application Server an connect all clients to Tiguin Application Server from RDP Client.
