This document will help you to Manage Users and perform some Advanced User management process with Tiguin User Management utility on Enjay Tiguin Linux OS

  • Go to Main Menu → System Tools → Tiguin User Management.



  • Click on Create Users.



  • Enter Username and Password.



  • If You want to Add more users then click on Add Button.



  • I have created five users here.
  • Click on Apply.



  • Click on OK.



User Management - Advanced Features

 

Advance features will help you when

  • You would need to manage your user's password in future
  • you would want to assign multiple users as administrator of system
  • OR you may require to assign shutdown rights to multiple users

During such cases you can follow the instructions as given below

  • Changing User's Password in Future
    • Open Tiguin User Management. Refer image as shown below.
    • In the left pane Select the user, whose password you want to change.
    • Then, in the right pane provide new password in "Password" field and repeat the same password in "Confirm Password" field.


  • Applying Administrator Privileges to other users
    • Open Tiguin User Management. Refer image as shown below.
    • In the left pane select the user to whom you want to assign administrator privileges.
    • Then, in the right pane select option "Make Administrator".


  • Applying Shutdown Privileges to other users
    • Open Tiguin User Management. Refer image as shown below.
    • In the left pane select the user to whom you want to assign Shutdown privileges.
    • Then, in the right pane select option "Add to Shutdown".
