Terminal Service installation in Windows 2003 Server With Security Settings.
1. Go to Start
- “Control Panel”
- “Add Remove Programs”.
2. Click on “Add/Remove Windows Components”.
3. Select “Terminal Server” then Pop up window will be appear as below.
- Click on “Yes”.
4. Select “Terminal Server” & “Terminal Server Licensing”.
- Click on “Next”.
5. Click on “Next”.
6. Select “Relaxed Security”.
- Click on “Next”.
7. Select “I will specify a License Server within 120 Days”.
- Click on “Next”.
8. Select “Per User” Licensing Mode.
- Click on “Next”.
9. Click on “Next”. There is no need to select any option from there.
10. Installation Progress will be Complete.
- Click on “Finish”.
11. Click on “Yes” for “Reboot Server”.
After Reboot Server Do the Security Settings.
1. Go to Start → Program
- “Administrative Tools”
- “Terminal Services Configuration”
2. Right Click on “RDP-Tcp”
- Go to “Properties”.
3. Click on “Permission” and Click on “Add”.
4. Type “Everyone” And Click on “Check Names”..
- Click on “OK”.
5. Select “Everyone” User and Give Full Control Allow Permission.
- Click on “Apply” and “OK”.
6. Go to Start → Program → Administrative tools.
- Local Security Policy.
7. Click on “Local Policies”.
8. Go to “User Rights Assignment”.
9. Right Click on “Allow Log on Locally”.
- Go to “Properties”.
10. Click on “Add User or Group”.
11. Type “Everyone” and Click on “Check Names”.
- Then Click on “OK”.
12. Click on “Apply” And “OK”.
13. Right Click on “Allow Log on Through Terminal service Console”.
- Go to “Properties”.
14. Click on “Add User or Group”.
- Type “Everyone” and Click on “Check Names” then Click on “OK”.
15. Then Click on “Apply” “OK”.
15. Go to “Security Options”.
Right Click on “Accounts: Limit local account use of blank Password to console”.
16. Click on “Disable”.
- Click on Apply OK.
After Done Setting then Create User and Login.
