Here is step by step Linux Tutorial for managing network connections.

Click on Tiguin Icon => Then got to Prefernces => Click on Network Connections.

Select Wired Connection and click on Edit button.

Click on IPv4 Settings.

Here you can see that your default Dynamic IP Configuration.

If you wnat to provide Static IP then select Manual on Method.

• Click on Add button.
• Provide information of your IP, Netmask, Gateway and DNS Servers. (Default DNS 8.8.8.8).
  
• Then click on Save.
  

Enter Password of your admin user.
